Painting No.2 - Ocean Flower

'Ocean Flower' is the second painting in my Deva series. I started the painting with a soft knowing of the colours I wanted to use in the composition and how I wanted the colours to be expressed as the subject.
The process of creating these new paintings is both similiar and different to creating the pieces prior. In both cases I feel inspired to use lively, colours that vibrate. There's also that gentle sensation of allowing and giving the painting room to become as it should.
Although I am painting Divine Mascueline and Divine Feminine aspects of an essence of something in nature as I experience it, this process feels pre-dominantly feminine - more fluid and flowing compared to the more focused energy of the paintings before.
