I've been exploring this piece over the last few days - gently, slowly, one brush stroke at a time. Sometimes things need to come to life that way. One little blossoming after another.
I'm not particularly one for New Year's resolutions, I'd rather have ideas of essences I want to create and experience while placing my intentions on them. Focused yet diffuse at the same time. I know that I want to go deeper with this year's collection, to bring forward a more focused yet diffuse reflection of what I am here to create.
I'm finding that this calls for a process of going inward - gently, slowly, one brush stroke at a time, focused yet diffuse. In the old paradigm of thinking there was the belief that fast=more=more. In the new paradigm there is deeper connection, soft light and gentle flow. Moments to partner with the Divine, whisper, hold hands, share laughs and pretty pictures to be painted. It's a Divinely feminine space, a sweet land of coming together.
If I had a resolution, then it would be to make this discovered space a home. Already so many flowers are growing there and others opening to the light.
