Today brings new cycles - a new moon, a new Chinese lunar year. For some reason it feels like the new year started today and not a few weeks ago.
I completed a new painting and this morning I woke up, very excited to photograph it for the website and blog here. I got the lighting set up, hoisted my camera unto the tripod, clicked and. . . nothing. My memory card died.
The painting is a beginning of a new path on my wider path as an artist - perhaps its better to call it an expansion then. An expansion of ideas, influences and inner experience. Recognizing this and today being the bringer of new cycles feels synchronistic to me.
From the very start, I've always known that I wanted my art to be about Divine Love and as I grow in that experience, going beyond, expanding - these processes have flown into my art.
It feels as if Love is everywhere - a beautiful, swirl of energy reaching out into the soul of things. With these new series of paintings I am taking that as I see it and most importantly feel it and bringing it forward.
Hopefully my camera will be well tomorrow so I'll have the pictures to share.
